Session Topic/Background
This is an in-person opportunity to network
with your peers; dig deeper into sharing best practices, pain points and
successes, build up and out professional relationships. The HIMSS Clinical
Engineering & Information Technology community as a sponsor of the
CE-IT/ACCE awards reception. This collaboration is comprised of approximately
8,000 members from ACCE, HIMSS and AAMI –members include individuals from
biomedical, clinical engineering, healthcare technology management professions
and anyone related to medical equipment and devices and health software
(maintain, repair, manage, purchase). Primary areas of concern include: patient
safety, device cybersecurity, alarms, interoperability across medical devices
and patient documentation, emerging technologies, Analytics (“Big Data”
platforms), Patient Engagement, Population Health, and Remote Patient
Monitoring.
