At HIMSS15, HIMSS
Veterans Career Services (VCS) will host a pre-conference Career Boot Camp
for our VCS attendees on Sunday, 12 April 2015. The 1-day event will
focus on making a successful transition from military service to a civilian
career in health IT. Topics to include: Overview of HIMSS VCS
program, Overview of the Chicago-based Enabled-Vet program, Making the
Transition, HIT Education (degrees/certs), Vendor/Employer panel, Keynote
(TBD), networking lunch.
